Marathon Refining

 

Started out as a Shell refinery in 1955. The first refinery on March Point, located at the north end.

After a merger with Texaco in 1999, this refinery was sold to Tesoro.

In August 2017, Tesoro briefly changed its name to Andeavor.

Shortly thereafter, Andeavor was acquired by Marathon Refining. The refining now operates under the Marathon name.

 

Marathon unit election taking place for the following positions:

     Workers' Committee:
          Maintenance Position 2 - (1)
          Operations Position 2 - (1)

Nominations open at the March 21, 2019 Unit meeting.
Voting to be held on April 18, 2019 from 8AM - 8PM at the hall.
New officers sworn in on May 16, 2019 at the Unit meeting.
